Project Description

The ARMONIA project is a strategic initiative designed to revolutionize the Libyan higher education landscape by aligning it with the principles of the Bologna Process. The project aims to modernize academic structures, enhance the quality of education, and facilitate the international recognition of Libyan degrees.

Key activities include comprehensive training programs for academic and administrative staff, the restructuring of curricula to focus on learning outcomes, and the implementation of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). Furthermore, the project focuses on strengthening university governance and fostering sustainable cooperation between Libyan and European partner institutions.

The expected impact of ARMONIA is profound: it will improve the employability of Libyan graduates, promote innovation in teaching and research, and harmonize educational policies across the nation. Sirte University and its partners aim to build a robust, transparent, and competitive higher education system.
