About the Conference
The Second International Conference of Engineering Sciences (ICES2024) that will be held from 24 to 25 April 2024, at the University of Sirte in the Libyan city of Sirte, aims to benefit from experiences and expertises in engineering sciences locally and internationally, as this academic event aims to bring together academics and researchers to work together to exchange ideas and visions on research and modern trends, exchange experiences and research results on all aspects of the fields of specialized engineering sciences as well as employ engineering theories and their applications in the practical aspect. This event is organized by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sirte where the official languages of the conference will be English and Arabic languages. Speakers specialized in the field of science and engineering will be contacted locally and internationally to enrich the scientific sessions of the conference.
We are confident that the Second International Conference of Engineering Sciences will be as successful as the first international conference organized by the college in March 2022, and all participants will receive meaningful knowledge beneficial to everyone, and today, as we witness the current difficult conditions that the whole world is experiencing, we would like to prove through your participation with us and with your scientific research that the scientific and research movement will not stop, regardless of the difficulties, and that the scientific researcher is a maker of life and an effective factor on its continuity.

Employing engineering and applied sciences and scientific research projects in solving the relevant problems of society.
Enhancing the role of continuing education in qualifying specialized human cadres.
Upgrading the role of universities in embracing innovators and developing their practical capabilities.

Developing the relationship between higher education institutions and local community institutions in planning and implementing engineering projects.

Conditions for participation in the conference
Accommodation for participants for conference research papers are free of chanrge, taking into account the following conditions:
- The research paper meets the recognized scientific conditions.
- The research paper must not be published or accepted for publication previously.
- The research paper should be submitted according to the conference template, which can be obtained from the conference website.
- The research paper should be submitted in (MS WORD) format and no other format will be considered.
- The number of papers pages should not exceed 8 pages for the English language and 10 pages for the Arabic language, and the writing is in one column as stipulated in the template approved by the conference.
- The full Papers should be sent before the deadline indicated for full papers submission specified by the Conference Preparatory Committee and referred to in the conference brochure and the conference website.
- Registration should be done in the form prepared by the Preparatory Committee for registration in the conference, which can be obtained from the conference website.
Guidelines of Receiving & Evaluating Research Papers:
- The research’s abstract submission must be due before the specified deadline via the conference E-mail (ICES2024@su.edu.ly).
- Once the research’s abstract is accepted, the researcher must submitted the full research paper through the conference electronic platform (su.edu.ly/eng).
- After matching the full research paper according to the conference themes and required-forms, it will be forwarded for reviewing by two field-specialized reviewers for deep evaluation before the decision is made.
- The research paper’s authors would be able to track his/her submitted paper via the conference electronic platform using their own username and password.
