The Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) and Sirte University have come together to establish a mutual agreement by signing a memorandum of understanding.
On Monday, June 27, 2022, Jordan University of Science & Technology (JUST) , in collaboration with Sirte University in Libya, successfully entered into a MoU in order to establish mutual research and academic cooperation. The memorandum was officially signed by Prof. Ahmed Al-Ajlouni, Vice President of JUST, and Prof. Sulayman Al-Shatir, President of Sirte University. This agreement entails collaboration between the two institutions in various domains such as research endeavors, academic publications, student and staff exchange programs, joint supervision of graduate students, the organization of specialized short-term academic programs, as well as the exchange of academic materials and information. Additionally, both parties will actively participate in workshops and academic meetings spanning a wide range of knowledge areas .
The signing ceremony was witnessed the by Dr. Ahmed Al-Dweik, Cultural Advisor at the Libyan Embassy, Dr. Al-Tayyeb Mohammed Al-Qobbi, Director of the International Cooperation Office at Sirte University, and Dr. Mahmoud Hammad, Director of the E-Learning and Open Resources Center at JUST. During this occasion, the delegation members took the opportunity to explore various facilities such as the university library, the e-learning center, and the research and teaching halls.
