On August 17, 2023, a meeting took place between the President of Sirte University and the director of Sirte Local Radio to engage in discussions about collaboration and the exchange of scientific knowledge.

The university intends to provide support for scientific initiatives that will bring about advantages for the community while also ensuring that students of  the Media Department to acquire technical and practical abilities.
