In a landmark ceremony on June 10th, 2024, Sirte University and El Oued University in Algeria solidified their commitment to collaboration through a formal twinning agreement. Professor Sulayman Alshatir, President of Sirte University, and Professor Omar Farhati, Director of El Oued University, signed the protocol, witnessed by prominent figures from both institutions.

The Faculty of Literature at Sirte University, in collaboration with the Student Activities Department, successfully concluded the "Talent Discovery" program today at Aladala Auditorium. The concluding session featured presentations by participating students from various university faculties, showcasing their skills in diverse radio programming areas, including news reporting and diverse radio shows.
Dr. Abdelrauf Alkhder, Director of the Media Department at the Libyan Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, recently paid a visit to Sirte University. He met with the university's media director, the dean of Faculty of Literature, and the director of human resources office to discuss ways to enhance media operations at the university.
