On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the Vice President for Academic Affairs made a working visit to the Department of Postgraduate Studies at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to follow up on the procedures and ensure the process of examining all documents submitted by the university to the administration to open a number of doctoral programs at Sirte University.

It is worth noting that the university applied for permission to practice six doctoral programs: geography, electrical engineering, business administration, accounting, public law, mathematics.
