Sirte University and the Faculty of Medicine marked World Heart Day with a gathering of heart specialists from various Libyan universities. The event was attended by the Vice President of the Libyan Cardiac Society.

A multitude of scientific lectures were presented, and Dr. Mustafa Mohammed Zarrik, the previous head of the Cardiology Department at the Faculty of Medicine and Ibn Sina Hospital, was honored for his contributions.
