A preparatory meeting was held between Al-Wadi University, Algeria and the Sirte University, Libya, to discuss the joint venture agreement. The meeting was attended by representatives from both universities, including the Vice President of Academic Affairs of Sirte University, Professor Altayeb Algubi, and the President of the National Committee for the Follow-up of Joint Venture Agreements, Professor Qudat Habib.

The President of Al-Wadi University, Mr. Amar Farhati, presented an overview of the university's various academic structures, scientific specializations, and accomplished achievements, such as patents, startups, and scientific publications. Professor Qudat Habib also presented a detailed overview of the university's history, the external social, economic, and environmental relationships, and its vision for the future.

The Vice President of the Academic Affairs of Sirte University expressed his gratitude for the initiative and warm reception, emphasizing his willingness to develop scientific and research collaborations between the two universities. The Director of the Regional Office for Science and Technology also expressed his appreciation for Al-Wadi University's progress and development.

The meeting was held during the International Doctoral Thesis Forum on Artificial Intelligence and the Cross-Border Universities Forum of Algerian and Tunisian border universities, both of which were organized by Al-Wadi University. This was the first time that Sirte University participated in such a collaboration with border universities.
