On Wednesday morning, February 7, 2024, the Third International Conference on Social Service commenced at Prof. Mousa Mohamed Mousa Hall. The conference, organized and overseen by the Center for Social Studies and the Professional Association of Social and Psychological Service in collaboration with Sirte University, revolved around the theme of "Social Service and Community Issues:
Towards Contemporary Perspectives" and carried the slogan "Reality, Solutions, and Foresight." The event spanned two days, concluding on February 8, 2024, and attracted faculty members, students, and various social specialists. Multiple speeches were delivered during the conference, highlighting the significance of organizing such scholarly gatherings to investigate diverse phenomena and accord them due attention. On behalf of Sirte University, the Director of the Community Service and Environmental Development Center delivered a speech expressing the institution's commitment to organizing scientific conferences and workshops that provide accurate information, benefiting the community through rigorous scientific studies.
During the opening session, a presentation was given, shedding light on Sirte University's scientific journey since its establishment. It encompassed the university's participation in and organization of scientific forums, as well as the scientific advancements that have contributed to its development.
