Within the framework of activating the scientific cooperation agreement between Sirte University and the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, this Tuesday morning February 13, 2024, Prof. Eltayeb Elgobbi, Vice President for Academic Affairs, accompanied by Dr. Rajwan Muhammad Rajwan, Dean of the Faculty of Literature and Science in Zamzam, visited the company on a working visit.

They were received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company, Dr. Muhammad Abdel-Malik Al-Faqih. During this visit, many topics of common interest were discussed, as the exchange of scientific visits and the use of the laboratory capabilities of the company, in addition to discussing the possibility of the company sponsoring the first international scientific conference that will be organized by the faculty of Literature and Science, titled: “Employing social sciences in the service of sustainable development”. the company has expressed its agreement to sponsor this conference. In this regard, the university extends its sincere appreciation for the care and support that the company will provide.
