Prof. Sulayman Alshatir, President of the University, and Dr. Khadija Mlitan, Director of the University’s Language Center, participated in a workshop on developing language centers in Libyan universities, which was held in Cairo on Wednesday and Thursday, April 24-25, 2024 and was organized by York Press

one of the leading developers of English language teaching courses, with the participation of Pearson, which specializes in language level exams, the workshop held under the supervision and coordination of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the presence of the Libyan universities of : (Tripoli, Sebha, Open University, Omar Al-Mukhtar, and Zawia)

The workshop included a number of presentations and dialogue meetings, and included an exhibition of specialized books. At the conclusion of the workshop, the participating Libyan universities presented a report that included a number of recommendations that would raise the level of performance of language centers in Libyan universities.
