On Monday, May 27, 2024, the Faculty of Law at Sirte University held the 25th annual Moot Court event at Aladala Auditorium under the theme "Drugs and Psychoactive Substances".

The gathering was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Acting President of Sirte University, and the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law. They were joined by Deans representing various other faculties, directors of centers and departments, faculty members, as well as esteemed guests from the judicial system - judges, prosecutors, and lawyers. A number of students and their families were also in attendance.

The proceedings commenced with recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech from the Acting President of the University and the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Law emphasizing the significance of such activities in the educational process and in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

Additionally, a video presentation about the Faculty and the objectives of the Moot Court was displayed. Subsequently, the simulated court sessions commenced, featuring the presentation of the case, pleadings, and the final verdict. As the event came to an end, the participants of the 25th Moot Court session were honored.
