In Prof. Musa Muhammad Musa hall, a training course began on Sunday morning, 14/05/2023, about "Chemical Safety and Security"
under the supervision of the Human Resources Development Office, in cooperation with the Libyan Society for Chemical Safety and Security.
The training course was launched in the presence of the President of the University, the Vice President for academic Affairs, and the Director of the Office of Human Resources Development.
The course seeks to raise the efficiency of laboratory technicians to increase safety and security. The program of the opening day of the session included a speech by the President of the University and the Vice President for academic Affairs. It also included a speech via Zoom technology by Dr. Fakhri Al-Abbar, President of the Libyan Society for Chemical Safety and Security. The course program also included a lecture by Dr. Ehmed Younis, a faculty member in the faculty of Sciences, on assessing risks and hazards inside the laboratory, and a lecture on chemical security risks delivered by Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Salihin, a faculty member at university. The course lasted for five days.
