Following the visit of the Prime Minister of the Libyan Government, Dr. Osama Hammad, and Eng. Belqasim Khalifa Haftar, the General Director of the Development and Reconstruction Fund, to Sirte University a few days ago, the National Development Agency started this morning to prepare a site for the construction of three integrated educational auditoriums that will contribute to facilitating the university educational process.
As part of the university's training program aimed at enhancing and qualifying all employees within the administrative units, Mr. Muftah Bashir, the Secretary-General of Sirte University, inaugurated a training course focused on the preparation of reports and administrative correspondence.
On Friday, April 19, 2024, the accreditation auditing team for the Faculty of Medicine arrived in the city of Sirte. They were welcomed by a group of university officials, including the university president, vice president for academic affairs, dean of the Faculty of Medicine, director of the university's Quality Office, and other representatives from the Faculty of Medicine, including the head of the quality department and the director of the administrative affairs office.
On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, a coordination meeting was held in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. The meeting aimed to organize a workshop on local governance, which will be conducted by the university's Community Service Center in collaboration with the Local Governance Committee of the Libyan House of Representatives. During the meeting, The topics and target audience were agreed upon, with the specific date to be determined later.
On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, , Prof. Eltayeb Elgobbi, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, chaired a meeting, to follow up on the completion of files for several postgraduate programs in various medical specialties at the university.
