الوصف-(Program Description)
يهدف البرنامج إلى إتاحة الفرصة للطلاب الحاصلين على الشهادة الجامعية في مجال هندسة النفط والغاز لاستكمال دراستهم العليا كما يحرص قسم هندسة النفط على تحقيق معايير الجودة الشاملة وفقاً للمعايير الدولية في برنامج الدراسات العليا وتوجيه الدراسات البحثية لحل مشكلات الصناعة النفطية في ليبيا بما يخدم مجالات الأبداع والتطور في المجتمع. بالإضافة الى حرص القسم على التعاون مع الشركات النفطية الوطنية والدولية والهيئات والمؤسسات العلمية والبحثية في الداخل والخارج عن طريق إجراء البحوث وتبادل المعارف والخبرات وبذلك يتمكن الحاصلين على درجة الماجستير من القسم متابعة دراسة الدكتوراه لمن يرغب في ذلك بنجاح. وبذلك يتمكين الطالب من معرفة أساليب وطرق وأدوات البحث العلمي في مجال الهندسة النفطية وإتاحة الفرصة للمتدربين في الشركات النفطية الوطنية والشركات الخاصة.
المقررات الدراسية
يبلغ إجمالي عدد المقررات الدراسية تسعة (09) مقررات دراسية، بالإضافة إلى رسالة الإجازة العالية (الماجستير)، حيث يبلغ عدد الوحدات الكليـة ثلاثــــة وثلاثــون (33) وحدة
مـدة الدراســة ونظام الدراسة
مـدة الدراســة يكون الحد الأدنى للمدة المطلوبة لإنهاء متطلبات درجة الإجازة العالية (الماجستير) ثلاثون (30) شهراً وبما لا يتجاوز (36) ستة وثلاثون شهراً.
برنامج الدراسة هو نظام فصلي، بواقع فصليين دراسيين في العام الجامعي” الخريف والربيع”، حيث يبدأ الفصل الدراسي الأول (الخريف) منتصف شهر سبتمبر وينتهي بنهاية شهر يناير. ويبدأ الفصل الدراسي الثاني(الربيع) بداية شهر مارس وينتهي بمنتصف شهر يوليو.

The program aims to provide the opportunity for students who hold a university degree in the field of oil and gas engineering to complete their postgraduate studies. The Petroleum Engineering Department is dedicated to upholding international quality standards in its postgraduate program, directing research toward solving challenges in Libya's oil industry, and fostering creativity and development in society. Additionally, the department aims to collaborate with national and international oil companies, and scientific bodies, facilitating research, knowledge exchange, and experiences. This collaborative effort provides those with a master's degree the chance to pursue doctoral studies, enabling students to learn scientific research methods in petroleum engineering and offering training opportunities for individuals in both national and private oil companies.
The Curriculum of The Master's Degree Program
The minimum degree requirement is 33 credit hours composed of 30 credit hours of coursework 6 credit hours for master thesis. The following is the curriculum of the department for the two years of study, which will establish at 2022 for the first time in the department, whereas the M.Sc. degrees cover area of research; " Petroleum Engineering ".
The Duration Required to Complete the Master's Degree Program
The Master's Degree program necessitates a minimum completion period of 30 months, with a maximum limit set at 36 months.
The academic year follows a semester-based system, consisting of two main semesters: Fall and Spring. each lasting approximately 16 weeks. Fall extends from mid-September to mid-January, while Spring commences in March and concludes in July

لقد سعى قسم الهندسة الكهربائية والالكترونية لفتح برنامج للدارسات العليا سنة 1998/1999م. في سنة 2022 تم استئناف الدراسة بالقسم من جديد وتم فتح برنامج هندسة قوى كهربائية بحلة جديدة. حيث يهدف البرنامج إلى إتاحة الفرصة للطلبة المتميزين الحاصلين على الشهادة الجامعية من قسم الهندسة الكهربائية والالكترونية لاستكمال دراستهم العليا. كذلك العمل على تحقيق معايير الجودة الشاملة وفقاً للمعايير الدولية في برنامج الدراسات العليا وذلك بتوجيه الدراسات البحثية لحل مشكلات وقضايا المجتمع. التعاون مع الهيئات والمؤسسات العلمية والبحثية في الداخل والخارج عن طريق إجراء البحوث وتبادل المعارف والخبرات. العمل بصورة مستقلة أو جماعية مع الآخرين مع احترام المسؤوليات المهنية والأخلاقية لمهنة الهندسة. تمكين الطالب من معرفة أساليب البحث العلمي وطرقه وأدواته في مجال التخصص.

The Master's Degree programs have been started in 1998/1999 in electrical and electronics department. In the year 2022, studies in the department resumed again, and the two programs were opened in a new way. One of them is The Master's Degree of " Electrical Power Engineering" program to provide the opportunity for distinguished students who hold a university degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to complete their postgraduate studies. We also work to achieve comprehensive quality standard in accordance with international standards in the graduate studies program by directing research studies to solve community problems. Cooperating with scientific research institutions at home and abroad by conducting research and exchanging knowledge and experiences. Work independently or collectively with others while respecting the ethical professional responsibilities of the engineering profession. Enabling the students to know the methods, tools of scientific research in the field of specialization.

يهدف برنامج الدراسات العليا في مجال تخصص هندسة الانتاج وعلم المواد إلى إتاحة الفرص للمتميزين الحاصلين على الشهادة الجامعية لاستكمال دراستهم العليا. بالإضافة الى تمكين الطالب من معرفة أساليب وطرق وأدوات البحث العلمي في مجال تخصص هندسة الانتاج وعلم المواد وإتاحة الفرصة للتدريب على هذه الأساليب وطرق ممارستها في هذا المجال. كما يتم توجيه الدراسات البحثية لحل مشاكل وقضايا المجتمع بما يخدم مجالات الابداع والتطور في المجتمع بناء على تلك الأسس يتمكن الطالب من حل مشاكل التصميم والأنظمة الهندسية عبر تطبيق المعارف والمهارات والأدوات الأساسية لهذا التخصص وكذلك العمل بصورة مستقلة أو جماعية مع الآخرين باحترام المسؤوليات المهنية والأخلاقية ومنح فرصة لطالب الدارسات العليا لمتابعة دراسة الدكتوراه بنجاح.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sirte was established in 2005. It has been offering Mechanical Engineering Programs leading to the B.Sc., The term system of study has been followed within the department. This department has proposed M.Sc. study programme for studed year (2022-2023). The following is the M.Sc. proposed curriculum of the Mechanical Department for the two years of study. The M.Sc. degree includes one specialty; the “Production Engineering and Materials", M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering is also followed the term system of study. The main aim for proposing the postgraduate programme in the mechanical engineering’s department in Sirte University, to give the new graduated students the chance for complete their postgraduate study (Master degree) in the easy-going environment, so they will be able to study and work in same time. This programme will help them to improve their skill and their abilities in their work fields. As mentioned early, this programme will assist them to improve their skills to figure out the society problems related to the mechanical engineering. They will learn more how to use and practise their mathematical and mechanical skills in their daily life to solve different issues may face them in their organizations.
