A collaborative meeting occurred between Sirte University and several Indonesian universities, with the presence of the Charge d'Affaires of the Indonesian Embassy to Libya, Dedi Ahmad Rafi, and Dr. Sulayman Alshater, the President of Sirte University. In attendance were deans of colleges, directors of offices, and departments from the Sirte University, as well as several Indonesian university presidents.
Upon receiving an invitation from the president of Al-Wadi University , the vice president of academic affairs participated in the launch of an English Language Teachers' Forum and the opening of a legal consultation office. This office provides advice to both the academic society and the wider community around the university
