The Second International Conference on Engineering Sciences (ICES2024) Commences at Sirte University

The Second International Conference on Engineering Sciences (ICES2024) has officially begun at Sirte University's Wagadougou Hall. Organized by the Faculty of Engineering, the conference's opening session witnessed numerous speeches praising the initiative as a vital platform for fostering scientific research and keeping abreast of the latest advancements across various scientific disciplines. These advancements aim to serve the community, capitalize on valuable experiences, and harness intellectual potential.

The scientific sessions of the first international scientific conference of the Faculty of Literature and Sciences - Zamzam began this afternoon, entitled - Employing social sciences in the service of sustainable development: analysis and evaluation. The main scientific session dealt with many of the scientific papers presented for the conference. The first scientific paper was entitled Scientific research and its relationship to sustainable development, presented by Professor Abdelkhaleg Al-Khatatneh - from the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Yarmouk University from Jordan, while the second scientific paper was entitled Employing social sciences in the service of sustainable development: The Arab Republic of Egypt as a model, by Professor Hala Ramadan, Director of the National Center for Social and Criminological Research - Arab Republic of Egypt . The third scientific paper, via Zoom technology, was entitled Social Sciences and their Role in Serving Society: A Sociological Vision by Professor Ibrahem Mlhem from the Department of Sociology at the Faculty of Literature at Damascus University, Syria. The session was chaired by Dr. Hussein Margin.
