The President of Sirte University tasked the Committee on Dam Inspection to visit water dams in Sirte.

The committee, composed of faculty members and engineers from the Faculty of Engineering and in collaboration with the Urban Planning Authority, collected data and took photographs to complete scientific studies. A presentation was delivered, including observations and photographs, in the presence of the University President. The committee's president and engineers mentioned their field visit observations and confirmed working on completing recommendations to present to the university administration and responsible entities. The University President acknowledged the significance of this work carried out by the Faculty of Engineering and its benefits for society. The tasked team is working voluntarily to provide scientific results.
