The Chargé d'Affairs of the Indonesian Embassy to Libya, Didi Ahmed Al-Rifai, arrived this morning (December 13, 2023) at Sirte University, the visit aimed at holding joint meetings and supporting ways of cooperation between Sirte University and a number of Indonesian universities. Upon his arrival, he was received by the University President and a number of deans of faculties and department directors.

The two parties held a meeting during which an introduction was given about Sirte University, its Faculties, and its postgraduate programs. The Chargé d’Affaires also gave an introduction of a number of universities in Indonesia. Following the meeting, the Chargé d’Affaires, accompanied by The University President, visited a number of Postgraduate study halls and university halls, and also visited the University scientific library, he reviewed the scientific references, He also reviewed the activities of library management and University publications.

It is expected that some meetings will be held during this visit that will strengthen scientific cooperation between Sirte University and universities in Indonesia, in order to invest in scientific development in Indonesian universities and provide opportunities for Libyan students to study there.
