Professor Dr. Sulayman Alshatir, the University President, participated in the meeting of the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities with the heads of Libyan universities, which was held on the morning of Tuesday, May 28, hosted by the University of Derna.

The meeting dealt with activating the participation of Libyan universities in the Association of Arab Universities, and their participation in all committees emanating from the association. After the meeting, The participants made a field visit to the university complex of the University of Derna, and a visit to the sites of destruction that arose from Derna floods disaster.
