On Wednesday 31.05.2023, the Faculty of Medicine of Sirte University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts, organized

a scientific day in Prof. Mousa Mohamed Mousa Hall, to raise awareness about Cancer under the slogan "Knowledge, will, Challenges ". In the presence of Dr. Sulayman Alshatir the University President, a number of deans , faculty members, and students, in addition to a number of interested peoples, the scientific day program included a presentation showing statistics within the city of Sirte. A scientific lecture given about cancer risks and causes, also a lecture entitled Cancer from the psychological perspective and its impact on patients, in addition to a lecture on how to prevent cancer, and a lecture on medical laws in Libya. In conclusion, a dialogue began between the attendees to exchange information and clarify what was stated in the two lectures
