يهدف برنامج الماجستير فيLinguistics " ــ اللغويات " لإضافة معرفة لغوية للطالب و تسليط الضوء على النظريات اللسانية الحديثة و توظيفها لتشخيص الظواهر اللغوية و دراستها دراسة علمية يتضمن البرنامج عدد المقررات= 8مقرر ، عدد الوحدات= 24 وحده ، رسالة = 6 وحدات ، مجموع عدد الوحدات بالبرنامج = 30 وحدة ، مدة الدراسة " نظام سنوي " ، بداية الدراسة ( شهر مارس ــــ نهاية الدراسة شهر ديسمبر) ، وفق التقويم الأكاديمي للدراسات العليا بالنظام السنوي.

The Master's program in Linguistics aims to add linguistic knowledge to the student and to shed light on modern linguistic theories, employ them to diagnose linguistic phenomena and study them scientifically. The program includes 30 units; 24 units for the 8 subjects and the 6 units for the thesis. The study system is annual, beginning in March and ending in December, according to the academic calendar for postgraduate studies in the annual system

 يهدف برنامج الماجستير في “Literature Program" لإضافة معرفة أدبية للطالب ودراسة لحركة الأدبية وما يتعلق بها من ظواهر أدبية، ويتضمن البرنامج عدد المقررات= 8مقرر، عدد الوحدات= 24 وحده، الرسالة = 6 وحدات، مجموع عدد الوحدات بالبرنامج = 30 وحدة، مدة الدراسة " نظام سنوي "، بداية الدراسة (شهر مارس ــــ نهاية الدراسة شهر ديسمبر)، وفق التقويم الأكاديمي للدراسات العليا بالنظام السنوي.

يهدف  برنامج الماجستير  في Geography Program ــ الجغرافيا " إلي إعداد كفاءات ملمة بالتقنية الحديثة واستخدمها في مختلف فروع الجغرافيا، و التركيز على البيئة الجغرافية الليبية وذلك من خلال تطوير البحث العلمي وتوجيهه لخدمة قضايا البيئة في ليبيا، كذلك إتاحة الفرصة للطلاب من حملة درجة الليسانس لإكمال دراستهم والحصول على درجة الماجستير في الجغرافيا الطبيعية والجغرافيا البشرية يتضمن البرنامج  عدد المقررات= 8مقرر  ،  عدد الوحدات= 24 وحده ، رسالة = 6 وحدات  ، مجموع عدد الوحدات بالبرنامج = 30 وحدة ، مدة الدراسة " نظام سنوي " ، بداية الدراسة ( شهر مارس ــــ نهاية الدراسة شهر ديسمبر) ، وفق التقويم الأكاديمي للدراسات العليا بالنظام السنوي.

The Master's Program in Geography aims to prepare qualified graduates familiar with modern technology and its use in various branches of geography. It also aims to focus on the Libyan geographical environment by developing scientific research and directing it to serve the environmental issues in Libya, as well as providing opportunity for students who hold a bachelor's degree to complete their higher studies in order to obtain a master’s degree in Physical geography and Human geography. The program includes 30 units; 24 units for the 8 subjects and the 6 units for the thesis. The Master's Program in Media 'Multimedia Program' aims to prepare specialized scientific cadres with high competence to work in the field of media in the multimedia specialty, as well as to acquire skills and strategies for autonomous and continuous learning and employ them effectively.

The program includes 30 units; 24 units for the 8 subjects and the 6 units for the dissertation. The study system is 'semester system', the autumn semester begins in December and ends in March and the spring semester begins in April and ends in August; according to the academic calendar for postgraduate studies in the annual system

The Master's Program in History aims to prepare highly competent professions in the field of modern and contemporary history, and to localize historical knowledge and everything related to the field because of its important role in the lives of peoples and nations. The program contains eight courses (24 credit hours) and a master's thesis (6 credit hours), for a total of 30 credit hours in the entire program. The duration of study is two semesters per academic year according to the academic calendar of the university’s Graduate Studies Department.

The Master's Program in Sociology

The study plan includes 8 compulsory subjects.  It is expected that the programme starts in Spring Semester 2023-2024. The programme aims principally to provide students with comprehensive and in-depth knowledge in the field of English language learning and teaching using modern technologies and methods to cover the needs of society in these fields.
